Hi Blog World! I have been extremely busy! During the holidays, I took a break from the world of "wedding planning", but I looked at a calender one day and suddenly I realized I had under 200 days to go! (as of today 134 days..Yiikkeesss) I thought to myself " I better get busy". So, I spent a week trying to catch up on all the things that I haven't gotten to already. During this time, I had to think outside of the box becasue I love being different and I was also trying to catch back up finacially. The holidays took a chunk out of our wedding budget! Needless to say, God will always provide..so I didn't stress. I just took a walk around different stores to see what I could find! I know, I know...why is my bird cage card holder blue and not purple?! LOL Well, this was the only color Marshalls Homegoods had, so I purchased it and added it to my fiance's list of "things to do". He is going to get it professionally painted for me either a metallic pearl white or a metallic purple...who knows!?...Cost.. VERY AFFORDABLE!

My ring bearer box and accessories box. I found them both at Marshalls Home goods. There was no way I was passing these up! They just caught my eye! The big box..I am going to put my jewelry, shoes and maybe my veil..not sure. But it ran me $12 bucks! The little cute box..well its not really a ring bearer box, but it is for my wedding. I purchased this for about $6 bucks! You can't tell, but both boxes are ivory and are decked out in crystals which reflect color. I love it!

Cake!! Yummy!! So this is a pic of knottie "KayKay's cake...Gorgwous right! I am going to use this as inspiration because I would love this romantic look with purple, pink and orange roses. My cake will be 4 tier, 4 flavors...red velvet, lemon, pineapple and chocolate. We just couldnt decide on one flavor..so why not 4! LOL My cake was ordered at Hollies Bakery in Redford Mi...cost us about $400 bucks

Of course all of you that happens to be planning a wedding (like myself) know all about the "colorful shoe" trend. But for those who don't, the new trend, for a few years now is instead of a bride wearing a traditional white or ivory bridal show under her gown, some brides choose to wear a colorful shoe under their gown! I think it is an awesome trend! If I decide to follw this trend, the shoe you see above would be my number shoe pick (Paris Hilton Gala Shoe). Too bad it' sold out everywhere!!What do you think? Take a look at all the daring brides below! I love it!!
